Connecticut Sadness

NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — The massacre of 26 children and adults at a Connecticut elementary school elicited horror and soul-searching around the world even as it raised more basic questions about why the gunman, a 20-year-old described as brilliant but remote, was driven to such a crime and how he chose his victims.

How does one even begin to explain or make sense of this??? You can't, no matter how hard you try. I can tell you this, It angers me to tears and I want to make it stop - but it won't. My backyard, my home state is hurting and I can't do a damn thing about it. I can't hug my friends, I can bring back what was lost and I can't answer their question "WHY?" I am left on my knee's begging God to help them. I  beg with tears in my eyes. I am asking him to take my blessings away to help them.

Now the USA is split on gun control. I get both sides but then the image of Jesus standing there with a gun in hand tells me "it's not the way". Here is something too, to think about if you are not a person of faith. You have two sons, one is normal (as normal as one can be) and one has a mental issues. Which one has more rights to a gun?? Well if you live in the USA "they both do. Now can someone explain to me how this is right. Each person is expected to be responsible for ones actions - I get that, but now we have a room full of children "GONE" where in the HELL are their rights to live??? Taken away in the name of gun rights.

This will not go away or be fixed, we live in a world about being right. It's all about protection of our "OWN" rights instead of thinking what or how others may suffer or lose to obtain those rights. No one wins! I keep telling myself I am not NOTW (not of this world) - my time is temp and I need to do the best that I can. And during that time, I am going to see more of such EVIL because it's his world too. But why can't we fight the EVIL - who says we have to settle. Start by honoring your neighbor and friends and serving others. Keep your eyes open and be ready to help.

To the families, my neighbors, , my friends, my home state: I love you more then you can imagine. I hurt too, I think and pray for you. I pray for the future, the pass and the presence. I pray that others will put others in front of themselves to help make a change. I pray that God will pass throw all of our vein to make us one. To the children I wish you a silent night:

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Bill Gates and his Wise Words for todays YOUTH

This came across my facebook page and OMG you know "he's one smart guy" Hail to the Truth...

BILL GATES TALKS TO TEENAGERS

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about ten things teenagers will not learn in school. He spoke about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation with no concept of reality and how this set them up for failure in the real world:

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it.

Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3: You will not make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to anything in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is not real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Post script: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Tis the Season

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and now the Christmas Season. We are beyond crazy nuts busy. We missed the turkey and we miss all the goodies that surround the turkey and we ate cereal all that day. But you know what???? We are most thankful for that. We had a wonderful day in which included so much laughs, talks and sharing of dreams between my husband and I. Its our busy season in which we depend on our sales to survive. Everything from twitter, Follow Me on Pinterest facebook and just right down begging folks to shop our store is sort of paying off. I am so glad we decided to settle for this season to allow us to put the extra hours into our business. The weather has been mild here and I am happy to report no snow on the ground (we had some a couple of weeks ago and it's gone gone gone melted). We have so much to be thankful, this season, this year. The BAD friends are out of our life, and new friends have entered our life that have a clear understanding of who we are and even better want to know who we are. A fun RV, a clear path and vision to our dreams. And living it by our rules.... There will always be bad with the good - but as Jorge always says "90% of life is how you react to it", my hard lesson in life lol. We truly wish all a GREAT Joy this season. May the new year awaken your dreams. May you live them. May you hold your tongue when judging others, may you find the meaning of what life is really is about and serving others one day at a time. And may you share a piece of your life with us... Ditto right back for all those who have their arms open to US!

Mistaken Identity

Mistaken identity

A dog was resting in a campground and an RVer was reading nearby on a lawn chair.

"Excuse me, sir, but does your dog bite?" a recently arrived camper asked. The RVer looked up over his newspaper and replied, "Nope."
...

Yet when the camper approached the animal, it began snarling and growling, and then attacked his legs. After pulling away from the crazed animal, he yelled, "I thought you said your dog didn't bite!"

The RVer muttered, "Ain't my dog."

When we change our clocks forward or back

Yes, it's that time of year ago. Daylight Savings. This is when I mark the start of the Holiday Season. (We celebrate Christmas but a little different from most folks, we celebrate Christmas as it should be a day to reflect on our Lord and we do a present exchange on New Years day - a new start =" the new present and feel they go more hand in hand then on Christmas). WE DID NOT QUIT our jobs, we just opt not to renew a contract for the next summer - there a number of reasons why in which we could go on and on about - but why, the main point was to follow our Dream by Our TERMS.... So now the holiday season is more then important to us because its the bulk of our paycheck now. So how does this play into Daylight Saving Time?? Easy - it's the start to the holidays and its here and now we have to work harder then ever now. BZZZZZZZZZZZZ is the sound we'll hear for up to 16 hours a day until Nov 24th. The official spelling is Daylight Saving Time, not Daylight SavingS Time FIRE DEPARTMENT: Many fire departments encourage people to change the batteries in their smoke detectors when they change their clocks because Daylight Saving Time provides a convenient reminder. "A working smoke detector more than doubles a person's chances of surviving a home fire," says William McNabb of the Troy Fire Department in Michigan. More than 90 percent of homes in the United States have smoke detectors, but one-third are estimated to have dead or missing batteries. SO CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES. We did!! We loose an hour of beautiful sunshine: This does not apply to Idaho because it's been cloudy non stop since Oct 22nd. So it's important to do some major spruce goose to your home and make it look springy since most will be spending a lot of time in doors - something we will do on Tuesday (Chore Day).... An extra hour of sleep is the reward for those who set their clocks and other time-keeping appliances back an hour - which means more chores for you when you waken if you haven't the night prior - due to having to change all those appliances lol - thankfully does not apply in our home and our cell phones do it themselves.... So enjoy that extra hour and be sure to change those batteries - Enjoy

HitchUpandGo

We have been visiting hitchupandgo to pick some brains on how to do this whole fulltime RVing better - you see this summer is all about traveling to fun location and doing the things we want to do. So one of the members there said we should join and become a part of the family - and today we received a beautiful email from http://www.hitchupandgo.com and we are now a part of the family. Talk about feeling good.

Tips from: solar, budget, cooking, reading, where to stay and such are things that are pretty major for having a better RV live and we can't thank the members enough for helping us and reach out.

If you are new to RVing then you need/must visit for RV education.

Thank you
Tim R. Enright
(A.K.A. BugSmacker) you soooooooo ROCK!!

Our 3 Four Legged Children

Milita our Border Collie is loving being back on the road again - it means less guard duty and a little more time getting out seeing the area.  The little pip squeak is Snowpea and she is our comedy relief and does her job beyond well. And then there is Junebug our male cat who was given such a girly name (because we thought he was a SHE).
This summer was the worst for him. We made the HUGE mistake of getting a new cat and Junebug wanted nothing to do with her. So for about 3 month he lived outside and REFUSED to come indoors. He's been the master of killing that whole time - we can't count the number of mice, chipmunks and birds he's left at our doorstep and manage to get himself stuck about 25 feet up in a tree for 5 days (in which we owe Jorge's summer boss many thanks - for she came alone with a ladder and made her way up the tree to get him down MY HERO for anyone who knows me know my baby is # 1 in our home). Well little kitty had to go for a number of reasons and she is happy in her new home and we have our #1 back in the RV full timing and he's back to being himself again.

PR for small business Owners like US

We hired Holly a good month ago and we are so beyond happy with her - our sale have gone up an extra 5% and our Facebook fans almost 50% more.
http://www.facebook.com/hollydlteacher/info?ref=ts#!/MrsCraftyRVing.Childrens.Emporium.Room?fref=ts
And we did the smallest package she offers. So you can bet for Nov we are hiring her for a bigger package.

Small Business Owner,
Do you struggle with promoting your product? Just do not have enough time to do the paperwork? Wish you had a PR person to do the marketing for you? Most small business owners often struggle with marketing their products and services, contacting new and former clients, and maintaining contact with the current customer base. Marketing and Advertising is the key to a successful business.
My name is Holly Lawson. I am the owner of Mission Montana blog. I am a stay-at-home mom of two young children. I love helping small businesses get recognized. I recently spoke with an Esty store owner. She expressed how hard it is to have a small business and run the PR at the same time. She also told me how she would love to have an affordable way to get her business promoted. I have recently decided to do PR for small businesses like yours.
What I offer?
I will promote your business, products, etc. on a daily to weekly basis monthly. I will use my blog and social networks to get your products noticed by thousands of people. I currently have over 5000 FB followers. I have found the more you promote a product on social sites, the more your sales rise. I will also post on Pinterest and create boards of your products. I will require an electronic signature for copyright purposes (to cover both of us!)
I will also help you by creating flyers, posters,  specials, etc for you business.
I will also help you maintain your Facebook page, create sales events for your site, and do the leg work that you may not be able to do on a weekly basis. Let me help you boost your business for the holidays with new and unique ideas!!
Packages I offer:
1. $20 package - 2 hours during the week working with you on marketing your business as well as daily posts on Facebook of new products. You can choose what weeks to promote.
2. $50 package - This monthly package includes 1 hour each week marketing your business as well as daily posts on Facebook of new products.
3. $75 package - This monthly package includes 2 hours each week of marketing with daily posts.
4. $100 package - This monthly package will include 4 hours of marketing a week including all the daily posts on Facebook. This package will feature more blog posts and PR work for your business.
*Each package includes the Twitter, Facebook and Blog posts, flyers, and Facebook page administration but amount of work will be based on the hours*
If this sounds like something you would like to try, please email me and we can discuss this further and anmy other ideas you may have. Try it for a week or month and see if you could use my services. Let me do the PR for you!
*I will be glad to give you a reference for credibility :)

RV ways of making an honest PAYCHECK

#1 way - our main way

We are here. Our Life Vacation aka ADVENTURES on the road. Our first stop is just right down the road for a month and 3 days. This time is being used to build our store inventory so that we can travel with less worries and more money in the bank.

So what is it we do?? Sewing is our main gig and one we depend on "BIG TIME"

Samples our main store:
 www.etsy.com/shop/mrscraftyrving

We do an average of 2 orders a day and our goal is 4 so we are a bit behind our goals of comfort. Thankfully our inventory helps us fill in the blanks..... As you can see they are small and just perfect for storing our store items but like all store owners/rvers we hope it moves fast. We currently have over 200+ fabric that yet to be made into these cool items (crayon roll, matchbox car holder, lip balm holder). This is why we are hiding in a RV park working almost around the clock to get all the fabric that is just sitting in their wrappers made into product.

If you wish to follow the feed to our shop for daily updates/sales and such:

Meet Hayden's George

Welcome to our first post!!

Hayden's George is about pure fun.... We've donated Mr Crafty to a young fellow and wish him well with his dreams - we just hope he keeps his promise of "PAY IT FORWARD" in which a gift is granted out of pureness of our heart and then you do the same for someone else in the future.

Lets see, where to begin. Awwww the shopping.... Pure hell, to save it, and to find it. We looked at new models that wanted our soul for a price tag. Looking at private sellers who do  not know the meaning of clean or honest. Our last look broke the mold and I took over the search. And here we have Hayden's George - old yes but everything was either re-done or replaced and cleaned over and over to the point of shine.

The history of Hayden's George is a simple one: A gently grandpa by the name of George owned and love the 1969 21ft rig. He made many travels and many great memories with this rig. Well, as life happens he passed away (RIP GEORGE) a couple of years ago and the rig was passed on to his grand child. As their family got bigger the need for a larger rig was in order. And a beautiful family this is too.... I don't have the families permission to mention their names and to protect their rights I am leaving that info out. They took turns showing it and the feeling was just not in the cards to the folks who seen it prior to us. Then I made the call because at this point my husband failed in the shopping area. The price was beyond in reach for us but for me it was the cuteness of it. So I made the call and then the call was made to us "ONLY" my husband took the call - hence George 2 (Jorge - but its GEORGE) and magic was made and the name connection won us the first stage of getting him.

I've got to tell you some tidbits of little things that has won my heart "FOREVER" full of grace all the way this family is all about. But lets see "The German Sausage" stand (yeppers family in Germany on our end) and "OCD" of everything - yepper me to a T and her to a T.... And oh yes - can't forget the bunnies the ever soooooo fat bunnies (our 300 may of equaled their one lol).... And many other little things.... There are people you meet and often forget but not this family.... Loved the veggies big time!!

And now we have another George at the ownership of this wonderful cute little rig. The idiots of our life"acquaintances" - I thought you were going bigger?" - instead of "WOW congrats" really eeerk me. Size is nothing for us - you see my husband not only loves me but also likes me as I have the same feeling towards him. So a 6X6 would suite us just fine too - "GET IT NOW??? Probably don't get it because it's a status to have larger and newer. Well dearies we are simple and will always be this way. It's the way GOD made us....

Day 1 begins Oct 22nd for us..... And so we welcome you to share in the JOY of our new beginning to our new life. Doing is smarter this time and doing it with more smiles, and more time to stop and smell the roses...
